Vendor Selection Assistance

No one can tell you which EHR is best for your practice. Ultimately, your decision will depend on the needs of your office, costs, and your interaction with the company. NYC REACH can help you begin your search by offering EHR vendor education:

As the only regional extension center housed within a health department, our mission goes beyond Meaningful Use achievement. NYC REACH aims to help providers and vendors advance EHRs as a tool to improve public health. To reflect this mission, we developed a new EHR vendor recognition program that features the following tiers:

Tier 1: Public Health Champions
eClinical WorksMD Land

These EHR vendors go beyond Meaningful Use and have developed a special relationship with the NYC Health Department. These companies work to develop innovative public health tools and reporting capabilities to improve quality across the city.

Tier 2: Meaningful Use Champions
amazing chartsaprima
Medgen EHRnextgen healthcare

These EHR companies work closely with NYC REACH to help their users meet the Meaningful Use requirements through joint trainings, shared materials, and a strong local presence.

All other EHR Vendors - NYC REACH will work with practices using any EHR. Join for free and take advantage of federally subsidized, vendor-neutral Meaningful Use education.

Interested vendors should send inquiries to Partnership Manager, Anname Phann: aphann@health.nyc.gov. Review full details of each tier here.
