NY1 interviewed a practice that is involved with the Patient Engagement and Education Kiosk (PEEK) project. The story features Michael Buck, Director of Biomedical Informatics, and NYC REACH provider champion Dr. Frank Maselli.

The PEEK project is funded by the HEAL 17 grant from New York State. Its aim is to increase patient engagement and education through the use of iPad kiosks at medical practices and community health centers in New York City.

NYC REACH now supports providers through year 1 and year 2 participation years, which include the adoption, implementation, and upgrade of a certified EHR, the attestation process for year 1 and year 2, and Meaningful Use achievement in year 2.
